THE BRIEF

To design an aspirational sales brochure promoting a new housing development. The brochure should incorporate a pocket holding specification sheets for each property type. These should be designed to work independently as well as in a sales pack. The client was keen to avoid stockpiling too many packs and requested the minimum print run.

THE SOLUTION

We chose a cover image showing a child's hand brushing through corn at sunset suggesting that the development location is a safe, rural environment in which to raise a family. Text and imagery within the brochure continued this theme. We also created a colour-coded siteplan and location maps. Individual property inserts included an artist's impression of each property and illustrated 3D floorplans.

THE RESULT

The overall package was intuitive and easy to follow. The brochure could be used as a complete pack or tailored to customer requirement. The property inserts were printed digitally to avoid plating costs on short print runs, this suited the requirement for flexibility. Such was the success of this that we produced further packages, signage and banners for other developments.
